Small print - Rental and Cancellation
The rental contract is with the Owners. The Owners' liability is limited to the rental paid. We have included electricity costs in the rent. Once we have sent you a confirmation of the reservation you will become liable for any remaining amount of total rent. In the event of cancellation, the initial payment will be refunded at our sole discretion and, where less than two months' notice of cancellation is given, only in exceptional circumstances. Whilst we try to re-let for you, we reserve the right to hold you responsible for any re-advertising or other costs involved and, in the event that the vacancy is not re-let, for the full balance of the cost of the holiday as detailed on the booking confirmation. In order to avoid any difficulty it is a good idea to take out cancellation insurance.
Payments
Once we have agreed a booking by phone or email it will be reserved for up to 48 hours pending receipt of your payment. We ask for 1/3 of the total rent to secure your booking, plus a second cheque for the balance of the rent dated 4 weeks before commencement of the holiday.
Arrival & Departure
The change-over day is Sunday. You can arrive any time after 16:00. Please leave the Cottage by 12:00 on the last day of your stay.
